Warehouse Unloader

Overview

Employnet is now hiring for a Warehouse Unloader in Round Rock, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently unloading incoming shipments of furniture or appliances, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks using various equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks/dolly.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory movements during shipping and receiving processes.
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting of goods, ensuring proper techniques to adhere to safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stacking pallets correctly, managing materials on the dock, and ensuring safe operation of all material handling equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related roles.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks/dolly.
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to lift heavy items repeatedly while following safety guidelines.
• Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and order picking procedures is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4am - 1pm

Pay: $18/hr
