Pre-Services Representative, Per Diem

Greet and welcome patients, families, and visitors in a warm and professional manner. Accurately collect and enter patient information into the registration system. Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations. Educate patients on the registration process and answer any questions or concerns. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Remain knowledgeable about hospital policies and procedures to provide accurate information to patients. Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless registration process for patients. Handle a high volume of phone calls and inquiries with patience and tact. Identify and escalate any issues or concerns to the appropriate department or supervisor. Keep updated on industry changes and attend training sessions to maintain knowledge and skills. Maintain a welcoming and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and provide exceptional customer service. Communicate any delays or issues to patients and provide alternative solutions. Complete all necessary paperwork and ensure accuracy and completeness.
