Industrial Filter Manufacturers (IFM) has full-time positions available for general manufacturing support for our panel, mold room, pleater, and sewing departments. Ideal candidates will bring a positive attitude and a desire to work as part of a team.

We are a small, family-oriented environment and hope to bring in someone who will stay with us long term. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (with a 30 minute lunch) and occasional overtime.

Interview Process:

The successful candidate will be asked to meet with the open departments to see the jobs and understand expectations. Candidates must be able to pass a tape measure test.

Job Summary:

• Performs a variety of tasks to support manufacturing including, but not limited to: equipment operation, product fabrication, and organization
• Assembles products using preexisting plans/blueprints/work orders
• Use of hand tools, tape measure
• Operation of various machinery
• QC of products
• Works with other departments on supply needs
• Prioritizes order completion based on company standards
• Good verbal aptitude, numerical ability, problem solving skills, and ability to make sound judgments and decisions

Education / Technical Training:

• 1+ year of related experience in assembly and warehousing recommended
• Must be able to read a tape measure

Job Specific Physical Demands:

This position requires:

• Continuous standing and movement
• Bending and stooping occasionally
• Lifting up to 50 pounds manually
• Ability to continuously work in an industrial setting with temperature variations
• Required to push and pull using a hand truck
• Repetitive hand motion, twisting, and arm motion
• Occasional reaching above and below the waist level
