How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities) Delta Professional Services (DPS) is seeking a Part-Time Product Owner / User Experience (UX) Specialist to join our Business Systems team. This individual will serve as the voice of the user throughout the product lifecycle, helping transform business needs into intuitive, scalable technology solutions. Working closely with business leaders, project managers, system developers, and end users. This role will ensure our internal systems, operational platforms, automation tools, and reporting solutions, are designed with the user experience at the center. The ideal candidate enjoys solving business problems, simplifying complex workflows, and turning feedback into meaningful product improvements. This position will report to the General Manager, Business Systems & Data at Delta Professional Services (DPS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. Product Ownership <ul><li>Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.</li><li>Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.</li><li>Prioritize enhancements based on business value, user impact, and strategic initiatives.</li><li>Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product reviews.</li><li>Validate completed work meets business requirements before release. </li></ul>User Experience <ul><li>Conduct user interviews and workflow discovery sessions.</li><li>Map current and future state business processes.</li><li>Design user journeys and recommend improvements that simplify work.</li><li>Create low-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and process flows.</li><li>Advocate for intuitive, user-friendly system design across all business applications.</li><li>Measure user adoption and identify opportunities to improve engagement. </li></ul>Business Analysis <ul><li>Analyze operational processes and identify automation opportunities.</li><li>Document current workflows and recommend future-state solutions.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology aligns with business objectives.</li><li>Assist with testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production validation. </li></ul>Change Management & Adoption <ul><li>Develop user guides and training materials.</li><li>Support system launches by facilitating demonstrations and training sessions.</li><li>Collect post-launch feedback and continuously improve solutions.</li><li>Help drive user adoption through effective communication and stakeholder engagement. </li></ul>What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications) <ul><li>Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.</li><li>Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.</li><li>Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.</li><li>Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. </li></ul>What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) <ul><li>Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, UX Designer, or similar role.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.</li><li>Experience gathering business requirements and documenting processes.</li><li>Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Experience working with Agile methodologies. </li></ul>Benefits And Perks To Help You Keep Climbing <ul><li>Space Available Personal Travel to include eligible dependent</li><li>Medical, Dental and Vision Plans available</li><li>Profit Sharing </li><li>401(k) match (following one year of service)</li></ul>
