Emergency Communications Specialist

The City of Myrtle Beach is seeking a qualified Communications Officer to handle 911 and non-emergency calls, dispatch agencies, and document all activities. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to regulatory requirements, and the ability to operate multiple information systems in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, valid SC driver’s license, and be willing to obtain required telecommunications and NCIC certifications within one year of hire.
