Clinical Support Representative, Specialty Nursing
Job Description:
- Support the Nursing department by ensuring timely and accurate tracking of Plan of Treatment documents in medical records software
- Maximize contact with providers to obtain signatures
- Contact prescriber offices by phone to obtain fax numbers or prescriber email addresses
- Fax nursing Plan of Treatments to appropriate prescriber fax numbers or email addresses
- Track Plan of Treatment details within the patient's electronic medical record
- Perform Q and A of Plan of Treatment documents
- Obtain provider signatures on Plan of Treatments
- Execute processes consistently with management and organizational goals
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of related experience in coordinating activities, administrative support functions, and customer service
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent detail orientation and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft business software
- Experience as a nursing assistant, pharmacy technician, home patient representative, or customer service representative preferred
- Experience obtaining physician signatures on Plans of Treatment (POTs), orders, certifications, recertifications, or other healthcare-related documentation
- Demonstrated success in conducting provider outreach, managing signature-related workflows, and escalating unresolved items as appropriate
- Ability to balance productivity goals with persistence and professionalism when securing provider signatures to support regulatory compliance and patient care continuity
- Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma; some college preferred
